La directora de EO, Yishao Zhou, puso en la página de la universidad un disclaimer.
Y la página personal de EO está online otra vez, pero con distintos contenidos. En particular, desmiente a YZ, publicando los mails de su directora:
- I think that it is sad that she - in order to save her own mathematical reputation - not tells the complete truth. The most sad thing, however, is that her beautifying of the truth makes me look like a fool in front of millions of people. I think that most people agree with me when I say that it is not a sin to have a mathematical paper criticized, but it is a sin to lie.
La única noticia importante es que la revista Nonlinear Analysis asignó nuevos referees al paper y lo va a reexaminar (según cuenta EO en su página).
